Summary: A must for any Zappa fan!
Comment: As a very dedicated Zappa fan the first tour of ZPZ by Dweezil captured on DVD is just amazing, the 3 CD set of music is equally rewarding. If you can't feel the emotion and passion of this box set then you need help. Dweezil's mission is to bring his fathers music to the generations, this set serves him well in doing just that. Buy this set, share it with your friends and see them live, you will not be sorry!

Comment: This item should be owned by every Zappa fan. Great performance of great musicians, and very good guests : Steve VAI, Napoleon Murphy BROCK and Terry BOZZIO ! This edition contains two DVDs and three CDs of the entire show.

Comment: I saw the incredible Murphy-Brock, Fowler, Duke, Underwood line-up in 1974. I feel especially fortunate. I saw Zappa Plays Zappa at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix AZ in May 2007 with guest Ray White. I can honestly tell you without reservation, from someone who owns every release from Freak Out! to Bongo Fury and the last two live sets (Jazz Noise and Never Heard In Your Life), that Dweezil Zappa's Zappa Plays Zappa is every bit as good as the real thing. Buy this and if you ever get a chance to see Dweezil's happy little family, For God's sake, GO!
