Summary: Hit and Miss album
Comment: This album is a clear case of 3-4 good tracks, 2 of which are pretty much metal/hardcore masterpeices..and several so so songs.
The Devil's own and The Bleeding are my favorites. I thought I'd get tired of The Bleeding from the radio airplay and "quasi-ballad" feel, but the song just is too good. The Devil's own took me a couple of listens to really like, but it just hits like a brickhouse.
Other tracks are decent, but nothing really stands out as above average. Some of the tracks Such as Ashes and Death before dishonor, sound almost identical, even after repeated listening.
In all, I'd reccommend this album becuase it is some solid metal..but it's not a total hit.

Comment: Five Finger Death Punch's new cd is what metal heads have been looking for!!! Be prepared to be surprised from track 1 thru 10!!! It will become your favorite cd!! Lot's of heart stopping, pounding lyrics and guitar riffs! They have a new fan for life!!!

Summary: Bringing back metal!!
Comment: Everything about this CD is amazing. It brings back the good parts that metal has lost over the past few years. It has a head banging rhythm, and strong lyrics. And you can understand the lyrics not jus screaming. It's got everything from the full of hate fast song (the way of the fist) to the emotion sparking soft sound of the bleeding. If you loved classic Pantera this is a CD you should for sure buy.

Comment: I just attended the Mayhem Festival in KS with my 6yr old where we saw FFDP, Disturbed, and of course SLIPKNOT and let me tell you they all rock, plain and simple. I tire of reading reviews that try to go into the lyrics or the musical arrangements of bands, I got it those who do such are prodigys (sarcasm). I have listened to all forms of metal and music since I was a kid (I am now 36) and I always go back to metal as a favorite due to its energy and these guys have energy. I am not looking to be inspired by their lyrics or have a musical epiphany. I just like it for what it is and I dont think people who like it for whatever reason are stupid or devoid of musical taste. Those who insult those who would like this genre of music are the ones I despise for they are truly the ones who would believe their opinions matter. If one has such an aversion to this band and those who listen to drool; got an idea let us hear your band. ENJOY THIS BAND FOR WHAT IT IS; JUST GOOD HARDCORE METAL:)

Summary: quite disapointed
Comment: first of all i'm not going to be overly critical of the band. they are good at what they do. i'm just not a fan of the "NEW METAL" genre. i want
it to just rip not change speed and melody every thirty seconds in every freaking song. when these guys rip they do rip, but. i think you know the rest. the reason i purchased this was amazon recomended it when i purchased the new Terror. a mistake i will not make again.
