Summary: Way to go Elliott
Comment: Elliott is a wonderful singer, his voice is absoutley beautiful. I am still blown away that he didn't make it to the top two on American Idol. But that's ok, he is a beautiful person inside & out, AND........... THE MAN CAN SING!!

I think he should be listened to with candle light, a glass of wine, big fluffy rug & a fireplace. Give him a listen if you like those things.

Way to go Elliott, I was rooting for you then (on American Idol) & and I am rooting for you now. Go Elliott!

Best Wishes
Brenda

Summary: Fast delivery service, and condition of CD was like new
Comment: Many thanks to Doolicity for their prompt delivery and the "like new" condition of the used CD. I will recommend them to others, and buy from them again.

Summary: surprisingly excellent
Comment: This is rapidly becoming one of my favorite CDs to listen to, much to
my surprise. I purchased a small stack of CDs at once and this was among them. I cannot seem to get to listening to the others, because I keep listening to this one.

Every single song is NICE or better. There have not been many CDs in my life which I
enjoy listening to so consistently or without passing a song up.
Thanks, Elliott. A great beginning, and I will be watching for your
future work.

Summary: A Great Voice; Unique
Comment: Who would've known Elliott would made an album like this? This album absolutly blew me out of the water when I first heard "Wait for you". One word, take my breath away, etc. 100% great. Not that average beautiful voice. He has that unique beautiful voice. You can't find a sound alike.

Summary: So beautiful, you'll cry.
Comment: The tones of Elliott's voice are gorgeous. I always thought so, I don't know what took me so long to finally buy this. At least I finally have it. If you have already have a favorite song, having Elliott sing it makes it heavenly. Luckily one of my favorites is on here... Well, several really. Get it and you may find you have a new favorite.

Editorial Reviews:

Elliott Yamin's debut is so agreeable and well-executed it may well convert hardened R&B experts--the kind who'd normally distance themselves from a disc with a TV pedigree. With sincerity and a voice that vaults itself to places no talent-show contestant should be able to go, Yamin bares his soul here in a way that would do his hero, Donny Hathaway, proud. Tracks like "Take My Breath Away" and "You Are the One" find him twisting a wrench around love-stained lyrics; "I'm the Man" and "Find A Way" flow with hat-in-hand grace (and, in the case of the latter, a scat worthy of a vintage jazz stage); and opener "Movin' On" immortalizes the season five judges'-table words of Paula Abdul: Ellliott Yamin is "one funky white boy." As he proves with this five-star album, he is also among the most gifted artists ever to a turn a stint on the show into a recording career. --Tammy La Gorce
